Our Animals

Children are encouraged to help care for and gain an understanding of a variety of small animals, such as chickens, doves, cavies (guinea pigs), fish, turtles and a worm farm.

Families are encouraged to recycle food scraps from home and bring them in for children to feed to the animals.

Within our program at the centre, children recycle lunch scraps to feed the animals, change the water and collect the eggs daily to use in our cooking experience.
